[Nothing to Fear Nothing to Doubt]
5/28/2006 4:19:00 PM - here we go again
There are a lot of old sayings; none of the ones present on my mind at this time actually works so we will skip that part.

Costa Rica, this is the land of opportunities, I’m serious, if you are good enough and willing to do some hard work you be at it in no time at all, but there is also the downsides of it, you will have to give up a lot of things, personal time, recreation time etc, now the things is Costa Rica cant grow on its own, it needs us all, it needs more people at research, and less people at strike. we need a plant to follow, a lot better tax collection system, a new boost of international capital, to stop giving away stupid privileges to some of the state workers [cough *syndicates* cough], and we need a smaller state, it is just to big, come on already, give up the monopolies, open up free trade at let us go some where, yes at first is going to seem that it all went wrong, but I hope we will endure this *hard* times, the problem with Costa Rica has been its lack of real goals towards development, and the irresponsible attitude of the syndicates, ever trying to defend their over-rated-privileges, which are only accessible to some of them.

we are starting to see steps to counter all this problems, privileges are being eliminated, new tax reforms are in the way, and our dear/hated CAFTA, is well in the assembly, that isn’t much I know but is there, also there is an initiative to adjust the current devaluation methods to more efficient ones that will allow our economy to grow and our debt to decreases.

in the end what we really need is a new attitude the one I define, or probably someone else did, "Accept and Commit", we will argue against what we think is wrong and will defend our own points of view, but at the time of the decision whatever decision is taken we, all the Costa Ricans, need to Accept that decision and commit to make our best effort to meet our goals, which at the end should be the same no matter the way in we attempt to reach them.

this is a lot of what’s going on thru my mind, this are time to help the country, to stop being selfish bastard that only look after yourself, get ready to endure whatever comes next and work to meet our goals, mines are, bring Costa Rica to the so-called first world.

there, is nothing really im not explainning our problems and somethings may be wrong, but as a general statement, thats mine. whats yours?
