Ohh I have too much to tell and so many pictures that you wouldn't imagine, I really really hope you can find your way to Finland to see them once I get back from here. I came here on the 15th of August, lost my shoes dancing out until 4 am, we took the train to the south and climbed the highest mountain here (we only made it to 5100 m, though), went to the beach and visited the ghettos of the biggest city. Small cafeterias in old colonial cities and hammocks and ceviche and sand and movies and never-ending nights on horrible buses. And somewhere on the way we fell madly in love.

I decided to stay for a month longer and will be back in November, until then we'll hang around in Quito, me helping at the restaurant of the family and Manuel attending classes at the university. From there it will be a long distance but this time I want to overcome it. Luckily Manuel liked Finland almost as much as I like Ecuador. Yesterday we went to see a Finnish movie and met a Finnish-Ecuatorian couple, left me with the tingling feeling of everything eventually having a happy ending.
I'll call or write you the day I get back home to hear if you feel at home in Europe. I know you do :D
